Doc Savage's Intensive Mental Training is a word game in the crossword style, that focuses its challenge around syllables rather than pure letter counts. At least one foreign language (Spanish) professor has used it in her classroom as a fun challenge to encourage growth in second-language learners. I collaborated on the game design, and created the board and instructions' visual design.
